ToggleLogic Free is the public routing layer for OpenClaw. A qualifying startup may use, modify, embed, host, and distribute it as an integrated part of a commercial product—and charge customers—without contacting Motherboard first.
Commercial startup use is permitted under the published License 2.0 while your consolidated startup group remains below both objective thresholds. No advance approval, registration, or early contact is required. Review the repository license for the controlling terms.
Requires OpenClaw 2026.9.4 or later; validated on OpenClaw 2026.9.5 and 2026.9.6. ToggleLogic Free 2.0.4 is the current public release and passed its full release gate and live acceptance testing on OpenClaw 2026.9.5 and 2026.9.6. Its minimum gateway is >=2026.9.4 and its plugin API compatibility floor is >=2026.5.2. Newer OpenClaw versions should be verified before production promotion.

Free does not claim to infer the perfect model from message text. It applies explicit policy, uses a documented fallback path, and leaves an auditable record.

ToggleLogic Intelligence is a proprietary decision product, separately licensed and privately delivered with the maintained registry, benchmark intelligence, private evidence, signed packs, and services approved for a deployment.

ToggleLogic includes patent-pending engineering. The repository license—not marketing shorthand—defines the patent rights granted for ToggleLogic Free.
The versioned ToggleLogic Free Startup Commercial Use License 2.0 controls Free use. Intelligence is governed by a separate written proprietary license delivered privately to authorized recipients.

Tests, provenance, and rollback
Public releases align source, package identity, published checksums, and changelog entries, and are acceptance-tested in a live deployment before publication.
No private Intelligence source in Free
The Free package excludes the Intelligence implementation, maintained registry data, private classifiers, customer evidence, and provider credentials. Authorized Intelligence recipients receive the private package and installation materials under separate written terms.
